Matting Options
We stock an extensive selection of the highest quality mats including linen, suede and fabric styles. We can even custom design and print a mat which will match a particular color or specific pattern! Our conservation mats are free of acids, lignins and other impurities you will find in standard paper mat boards, thereby ensuring against damage such as yellowing over time. |
Glazing Options
The glass you select for your framing is an important part of every project. Depending where and under what conditions your frame will be displayed, the amount of natural and artificial light it will receive can cause irreversible damage. Glass can act as a sunscreen by filtering out harmful UV rays, and there are coatings which are specifically engineered to reduce glare.

At Image Arts Etc., you can choose from five grades of framing glass:
- Museum: Highest quality, it almost disappears, to reveal a crystal clear image of your art
- Conservation Reflection Control: Reflects light to reduce glare, absorbs 97% of UV rays
- Conservation Clear: Same as above, with no reflection control
- Reflection Control: Glare reduction only
- Premium Clear: A high quality clear glass; no reflection control or UV filtering features
